Works well
A lot quieter than the petrol one, maybe not as powerful, but works well enough.
My FULL experience 80mm 2200W Wood Chipper / Mulcher
The order process was straight forward, even though there was a stock delay. Once the item was in stock, collection and customer service was great. It was well packed in a timber crate, that required a forklift to move and load ( so be prepared if collecting and unloading, you need help, its heavy.) I have used the 80mm WoodChipper 2200W to chip and mulch 2 large peppercorn trees I have cut down to trunck level, this has created a large amount of product to chip and mulch. So far the chipper has performed exceptionally well. It does as expected chipping 80mm branches, clearly a large branch takes time as it chips away at it,but anything up to 60mm is easily shredded and mulched. A note on the power requirements, I was warned that you need a heavy duty extension lead else it may not start. I have found standard 10Amp leads work fine, however you need a 15amp circuit to run the chipper, if you have 10amp circuits it will trip. My only concern and still to be confirmed is the longevity of the chipper blade, Im not sur eif it is showing signs off being blunt already, but will keep an aye on this and hopefully if blades need sharpening its simple and not to expensive. Overall a great machine, extremely happy at this bstage of ownership.
Electric chipper
All seems good so far but I am yet to put anything over 40mm through it. Although there was a delay, outside of the company control, once the chipper was available it arrived in good time and condition. It was easy to put together even without any real instructions although it is a heavy piece of equipment and I recommend two people are required to get it off the back of a Ute.
