Change of Mind Returns - 14 Day Limit
General Policy:
- Goods bought from Forestwest can be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase.
- The customer is responsible for the cost of return freight. If needed, Forestwest can arrange freight and deduct the cost from the refund.
- Clearly mark your name and contact details on the return package.
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and packaged so that the return label is attached to the wrapping and not directly to the product or its packaging.
- Ensure the item is packed to prevent damage during transit.
- Items that are used or not in their original packaging will not be accepted for return.
- Once the product is received in its original condition, a credit or full refund will be issued to the customer.
Specific Situations for Returns
Faulty Goods:
Minor faults will be repaired or replaced within an agreed timeframe. If the fault cannot be resolved, customers may choose a refund or replacement. Photos and/or videos of the item may also be requested to assist in the return process. Once the return is authorised, the customer is responsible for ensuring the product is packaged securely to prevent any damage during the return process. This is managed by the warranty process.
Incorrectly bought goods can be returned if:
- The goods are unused.
- The goods are in their original packaging.
- The goods are returned within 60 days of purchase.
- The customer must pay the return freight, and Forestwest will refund the cost of the goods excluding the original freight and insurance.
Non-Returnable Situations:
- Change of mind returns are only accepted up to 14 days after receipt.
- Custom-made goods, such as modified or cut-to-length items, cannot be returned under any circumstances.
