Description
The Forestwest BM11156 36" Full-Width Portable Sawmill is the largest-capacity model in the Forestwest portable sawmill range, designed for processing large logs and producing wide boards, slabs and structural timber.
Powered by a 22HP petrol engine with electric start, the BM11156 handles logs up to 36" (915mm) in diameter and provides a full 36" (915mm) maximum cutting width. Its 8" (203mm) maximum cutting depth provides additional flexibility when milling thick slabs, beams and large timber sections.
The BM11156 has been tested with demanding Australian hardwood including Red Gum and Ironbark. Its upgraded sawhead features an improved blade-tensioning handle, nylon guide pads for smoother vertical movement and quick-release blade housing clamps for easier routine access.
The standard cutting length is approximately 3100mm, while optional 2050mm bed extensions allow the sawmill to be configured for longer logs and larger projects.
