The Forestwest BM11156 is the upgraded version of the BM11136, retaining the reliable power and heavy-duty construction of the previous model while introducing several significant improvements to cutting capacity, blade adjustment and maintenance access.

Key Upgrades from the BM11136

• Wider Cutting Capacity: Maximum cutting width increased from 29.5" (750 mm) to 36" (915 mm), allowing the sawmill to produce wider slabs and make better use of large-diameter logs.
• Greater Cutting Depth: Maximum cutting depth increased from 150 mm to 8" (203 mm).
• New Blade Tensioning Handle: Provides easier and more convenient blade-tension adjustment.
• Nylon Pads on the Sawhead Lift Guides: Help the sawhead move more smoothly when being raised or lowered.
• Quick-Release Cover Clamps: Allow faster and easier access to the internal components for inspection, blade adjustment and maintenance.

Powered by a robust 22HP petrol engine with electric start, the BM11156 delivers the power required to cut demanding Australian hardwoods. It has been tested by local customers cutting Red Gum, demonstrating its capability in tough working conditions.

The sawmill uses a durable 162" induction-hardened steel bandsaw blade, providing accurate and consistent cutting performance. With a maximum log diameter of 36" (915 mm) and an upgraded maximum cutting width of 36" (915 mm), it can now cut substantially wider boards and slabs than the previous BM11136.

The sawmill features a 4100 mm bed length and a maximum cutting length of 3100 mm, providing ample capacity for processing long logs.
