18 ton electric logsplitter
Very I’m pressed. Couple of things The washers and bolts were just thrown in loose with the boxed machine. Annoying, and I found one washer lying in the works of the motor. How hard would it be to contain them on a plastic bag. Doesnt engender confidence. Having said that once assembled the machine hasn’t disappointed. I will say I made a little tinker support for the end of the wood tray where the split logs deliver onto. I felt it needed to be supported in the long term. Handles most knotty rounds of wood quite well but sometimes having a strategy is an advantage. Definitely value for money and no regrets. Few farmers unwilling to commit but looking on with interest. PS Best thing is I split wood right in my tool shed. No fines and no noise
