Check out the testing video for the 15ton Kinetic Log Splitter.
This 15ton log splitter has been upgraded with heavier and stronger flywheel system, generate more power to split hardwood.
This Forestwest 15ton Log Splitter BM11097, is a more advanced model call Kinetic Log Splitter. Tested with Jarrah, Yellow Box, String Bark, and Red Gum, this is the most popular model we have at the moment. It is a lot more efficient with only 2-3 seconds per split cycle, much faster than hydraulic ones. And it required very low maintenance, you only need to keep it clean and lubricated.
15ton Kinetic Log Splitter BM11097 can generate up to 15ton splitting force, powered by a 2200W electric motor. This machine is up about waist high with a stand, so you don't need to bend over to do any splitting, and the front tray will catch all the split pieces ready for the next split. Perfect for domestic use.

Very good - it finds the white gum (Wandoo) harder to split than other hardwoods such as Jarrah
I've had mine for two years now and absolutely love it. We use wood from our property - various eucalypt and wattle species mainly - to heat our house, hot water, and food. So it's critical, and this 15-tonne kinetic splitter saves a lot of time. I'm so glad I didn't go with a petrol or hydraulic machine. Electric power is ultra-convenient, not lacking in grunt at all, and the speed of the kinetic concept is light-years ahead of hydraulics. I've split huge rounds of timber on this thing. Sometimes it takes a few hits, but the process only ever fails if the piece has really gnarly, tortured grain like near a big branch or fork. In two years I've had at maybe five or six **** pieces that I couldn't split with persistence. Mostly, it pops through ordinary rounds in a second. The stock handle grip is a bit harsh, so I've wrapped soft foam around mine instead (sometimes it kicks back through the handle, so padding helps). Overall, such a superior way of splitting firewood. Highly recommended.
Very efficient, safe and quite splitter. I split about 3 tonnes of wood in four hours giving the splitter and myself a rest every 40 minutes. Recommend a better manual to assemble the splitter and lubrication maintenance
