This bad boy arrived today. We put it together OK. Thankfully we have a small excavator to help lift it onto it's wheels. First try we were amazed how well it split the hard wood we have here in Hobart. The knotted rounds were no match for it. We both agreed we made the right decision to get the 34T unit. This is one of those time be the saying " go big or go home" applies. There will be 12T of logs arriving this weekend and I have to say I am really looking forward to it! Thanks Forestwest.

After assembling the log splitter over several hours by myself (presume would be much easier with help), I fueled and oiled the log splitter to try out on some hard, gnarly timber me and my block splitter could not handle. Pulled the starter, 1st time start, Pushed the 2 levers and bang - split timber. As I went through my pile, some took a few goes (some could be down to operator) but it wasn't long before I had enough for a few weeks of firewood supply. Awesome machine and strong build should last for years to come
